A twist on multiplication flashcards

      I LOVE teaching multiplication. It is such a concrete skill that I even get to see my lower level students succeed easily. I can honestly say it is my all time favorite thing to teach. I love coming up with unique ways to spark their interest and keep them excited about multiplying. I forgo the typical flashcards and came up with a new and exciting trick. I di-cut numbers 1-9 for the multiplication flashcards.

Here is what they do with them:

1. They skip count by that number.
2. When they say a number they write it down on their number in order.  
3. Whenever they are multiplying by a number they look at their flashcards and find the answer quickly.
