Sequencing Fun!

They started by watching a Brain Pop Jr. Video on "sequencing", which is always their favorite.
We then played on our Smart Board. I found this amazing link and if you have never visited...beware and get ready to spend HOURS!!!  It has TONS of teacher created, standard correlating, students engaging interactive lessons. in the first night I downloaded over 200 lessons. It is called Smart Board Exchange. Click to follow the link.

So we then played 3 interactive Smart Board games to show how to sequence a story. After that they chose a book to read and created this foldable to sequence their story in order using transition words. They each got a strip of paper, and index cards. I told them to fold each card like a book, then write the transition words they were going to use to sequence their story.
